We’re already in the second month of 2021! As we move through 2021, we are still faced with the challenges COVID-19 has presented. Whether you are a lay person or business owner, being consistent is vital to staying safe. In order to do good business and stay relevant in this pandemic, there are some important ways to consistently provide good business. In this edition, I will share three I utilize.
Stay Consistent With Brand Presence
Due to COVID-19, some businesses are limited in the way they are able to conduct business. Maintaining your brand’s presence is one thing you must continue to do. Utilization of social media is paramount. Posting on social media platforms daily and/or multiple times a day, aid in staying in eye shot of your customer base and the arena your business operates in. Depending on the size of your business, you may not possess a huge marketing budget. Social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, blog posts, and Instagram provide the lenses necessary to stay in front of an established customer base and potential for new customers.
Stay Consistent With Expanding Your Network
Establishing new business relationships can increase your brand awareness. For example, leveraging a relationship with a radio or podcast show. This relationship can provide an opportunity to expose your products or services to a wider audience. By being a guest on a radio or podcast show, you can provide a product or service as a giveaway during the broadcast. In turn, you can promote the radio and podcast show on your social media platforms to reciprocate the exposure for their show. Another way to stay consistent with expanding your network is to share your website or business information with businesses who promote networking. More small businesses are promoting networking on their social media platforms. This provides an avenue for business owners or lay people to share websites, ads, and/or pics of small businesses to increase awareness and to reciprocate support.
Stay Consistent With Communication With Loyal Customers
Word of mouth is still one of the most important vehicles to remaining relative in the space you operate. Execution of your best business practices with good customer service should never get stale. Let your customers know how much you appreciate them via email and/or providing personalized cards or messages. These methods do not have to be costly. Messenger is a great way to send customers updates on new products, goods, or services you are releasing. In addition, let your customers know how much you value them by giving them discount codes or free shipping. There is nothing more rewarding than a customer providing a great rating and review and including how you provide them with stellar customer service.
Some of the experts in the medical community predict that COVID-19 will be with us long-term. As you continue to exercise the safety practices to keep you, your family and friends, and colleagues safe, it is just as important to stay consistent with keeping your brand presence, expanding your network, and communication with your loyal customers.
